Ayem Bem Michael

My name is Bem, I hail from Gboko LGA of Benue State. I have been working at Olumawu School for the past four years. I studied at Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi and obtained a degree in Statistics/Computer Science. Currently, I am undergoing a postgraduate program leading to the award of PGD Information Technology (IT) at National Open University of Nigeria. I have experience of teaching in primary, secondary and higher institutions before and have handled students of varying ages, backgrounds and ethnicities in Benue and Borno States after leaving the banking industry.

My interest is in learning, research and teaching/providing students with opportunities to flourish both inside and outside of the classroom. My lessons are always presented through modern ICT tools/techniques and are interactive in nature, students are well encouraged during my lessons to explore the subject for themselves. I have passion in studying and understanding the individual personality of my students and allowing them to express themselves in the most innovative and creative ways possible. I am also committed to creating a self and challenging learning environment using modern teaching aids, techniques and infrastructures where students are part of the positive learning experience.

I look forward to impacting more on the students/school and building on the success this great institution has already recorded.

I love working on the computer, watching football and animals.
