Hausa Language Teacher

My name is formally Ishaku now changed to Sunday Azzah in 2012. This is my sixteenth years working at Olumawu School/College. I am from Kaduna state and grew up in the middle belt in a small town called Chori in Kauru Local government of Kaduna state.

I attended Kaduna state College of Education Gidan Waya, Kafanchan and University of Abuja, gaining an N.C.E and a Degree. I had certificate in Teachers Registration Council (TRC) as a qualified teacher. Finally, I had a Certificate in ICT.

I have been in Abuja teaching pupils/students from different socio-cultural background and ethnicities in Olumawu school, this is because I am opportune to be bless with the gift of impacting knowledge on how to speak and write Hausa language fluently and correctly.

I believed in personal learning and in providing pupils/students with opportunities to speak the language both inside and outside the classroom.  I also believed in confident building for the pupils/students to express themselves better.

Finally, I encouraged them to see Hausa as a Language not a religion.

I enjoyed watching  and listening to gospel music. I am also a social worker.
