My name is Nsikan Edet Udonya and I’m a native of Akwa Ibom state. I grew up in Calabar and studied in the University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom state; where I obtained a degree in crop science, (B. Agric). I have also obtained a PGDE in 2010 with specialty in Mathematics. I am a strongly motivated individual; a loyal, talented and caring person who loves making a difference into the lives of young children. I am open-minded, patient and supportive towards other people, especially towards children and have special interest in adding value to their lives. To buttress my commitments, in 2011, I attended a seminar on “Classroom Management and Effective Teaching” organized by Graceland International Schools; to boost teachers’ performance and output. I have an excellent ability to remain good-humoured and unflappable under pressure.

I have taught Biology, Agriculture and Mathematics proficiently at various levels in senior secondary schools. I have served as the head of science department, club coordinator and pastoral care coordinator. I am currently handling classes in primary schools because of my love for younger children. I have a great eye for detail and shows good concern in getting weaker pupils to meet up with others at a convenient pace. My experiences so far with the young ones have been stimulating, so I am committed to always get them to develop interest in their subjects and to achieve excellence.

I am looking forward to beginning of the academic year and hope to build on the successes already present in the school and create opportunities for all pupils to succeed.

I play chess and scrabble very well when on holidays and I’m also a great football fan with particular interest in the English Premier League.
