Chioma Ekeh LeaticiaDSC_0136

My name is Ekeh Chioma Leaticia (Nee Amajirionwu). I have spent a “score years” in this school.  I joined the school at a very youthful stage and continued to grow with all the development and progress in the school. I started my job career in this school as a class teacher in both pre-school and primary sections, when the school was known as Olumawu Nursery and Primary school.

I am from Ngor-Okpala L.G.A. in Imo-State. I had my primary and secondary education in the south East. Then my tertiary education in the South-West and North Central. The institutions are Federal College of Education, Kontagora in Niger State and University of Ilorin in Kwara State. I obtain what it takes to be a qualified teacher starting from Teachers Grade II, NCE to B.Ed in Educational Management and Planning. I also obtain a masters degree in Education Administration and Planning from National Open University of Nigeria (Noun).

I like working with children and youths but I am  a strong advocate of self discipline and hardwork. I derive joy in giving children a Holistic Education and inculcating discipline that would take them to a greater height in the nearest future. When I have any contact with pupils, Students and staff I want them to experience a change both in academics and behaviour. I also believe in originality of doing things not being chased to discharge my duties by my employer or waiting to get an instant reward. I easily adapt to any change or situation as long as I know that it is a positive one.

Most important in my life is working in a peaceful environment and this may be the brain behind my long stay in Olumawu School.

I so much cherish honesty, perseverance, loyalty and hardwork.

Before my present position, I have held the post of Special Assistant Administrator of the school.

I have a long standing experience of Olumawu School and pray that the institution shall continue to glow from generation to generation.

My dream for the institution is to see it becoming one of the best schools in the country where people will work very hard to secure admission, graduate in flying colours and go further without any hindrance.

I engage myself in social activities that encourage good morals and discipline.
